1Who we are
This policy explains how HostingStall, 8/5 Kantnagar Road, Berhampore, Murshidabad, West Bengal 742102, India ("HostingStall", "we") handles personal data when you visit hostingstall.com, use our client area or order our services. We are responsible for your personal data under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
2Data we collect
- Data you give us: name, company, email address, phone number, postal address, tax details, billing information, support tickets and contact form messages.
- Data collected automatically: IP address, browser and device details, pages visited and timestamps, from server logs and analytics cookies.
- Data from others: payment confirmations from our payment providers and results of fraud checks.
Files and data you store on your servers or hosting account belong to you. We only access them when you ask us to, to keep the service running, to investigate abuse, or when the law requires it.
3How we use your data
- To set up, run and support your services.
- To send invoices, take payments and keep accounting records.
- To protect our network and customers from fraud, spam and abuse. For example, our contact form records IP addresses to block spam.
- To send service notices, such as maintenance and renewal reminders.
- To send news and offers, only if you agree; you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet our legal obligations.
4Why we can use your data
We process personal data to perform our contract with you, to comply with the law, for legitimate uses such as security and fraud prevention, and with your consent where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before.
7International transfers
Some of our providers, such as Google and PayPal, may process data outside India. We only use providers that protect personal data to a high standard.
8How long we keep data
We keep account and billing records while you are a customer and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Contact form messages are kept for up to 12 months and server logs for up to 90 days. Data stored on a service is deleted when that service ends.
9How we protect data
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and monitoring to protect personal data. Only staff who need data to do their job can access it.
10Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or update it;
- delete it, where we are not required to keep it;
- stop using it for marketing, or withdraw your consent;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

12Children
Our services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
